Because the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) was cancelled in November due to Covid19, one of the events we missed was the Folk DJ Showcase where DJs from the region selected “emerging” artists for an outstanding annual guerrilla showcase. The event is back - virtually.

On Saturday January 23 at 3pm ET, the 2021 Folk DJ Emerging Artist Showcase will premiere a video stream on the Folk Music Notebook YouTube page (https://youtu.be/ZOAHIRHvTb8 ). Join us for a live chat on YouTube during the premiere!

The free showcase was created by folk music DJs from across the Northeastern United States and Canada. The DJs, who host shows on their local radio stations, have selected emerging artists from the folk community to present to viewers and listeners in this special 3 hour showcase.

This virtual showcase will feature the work of outstanding artists and also the radio hosts who present their shows to appreciative audiences across the nation. Here is the list of DJs and artists who will be appearing:
