Esteemed journalist and former editorial page editor for the Charlotte Observer (and my friend), Ed Williams, will host a house concert for me on February 19 in Charlotte. I've got a new batch of songs I will be recording this year, and I plan to sing all of them at this concert. The songs all in one way or another explore themes of darkness and light in humanity and in our relationships with each other. Ed has also promised to share a special reflection on these themes as well.

Dj Red Hickey hosts a live radio show in Knoxville, Tennessee at “Visit Knoxville”. A limited number of tickets are available. The show will also live stream on WDVX’s Facebook page (and will be available for later viewing).

Parker Foley, Tom Hanchett and I will play on the patio of the newly renovated, historic Old Marshall Jail which sits right next to the French Broad River in Marshall, NC. Zadie’s Bar and Deli and Market will be newly opened—serving local food on a menu co-developed by John Fleer.

This month-long celebration of Charlotte artists pairs musicians with venues for pop-up performances throughout the South End in Charlotte. Parker Foley and I will be playing on the terrace at Bulgogi Box.
