Esteemed journalist and former editorial page editor for the Charlotte Observer (and my friend), Ed Williams, will host a house concert for me on February 19 in Charlotte. I've got a new batch of songs I will be recording this year, and I plan to sing all of them at this concert. The songs all in one way or another explore themes of darkness and light in humanity and in our relationships with each other. Ed has also promised to share a special reflection on these themes as well.

On Sunday July 17th I’ll be performing at 2:45pm on the main stage for the 37th annual Woodstock Folk Festival. I’ll do a 40 minute set of songs from my 2 most recent cds as well as several new songs. Parker Foley will join me on upright bass. Rain location: Opera House/ 121 Van Buren Street/Woodstock, IL. The festival runs from Noon to 6pm and includes a great lineup including: 12:00 Tricia Alexander, Rod Abernethy, Cassandra Vohs-Demann, South for Winter, Tia McGraff and Tommy Parham.
My heroic friend, Manolo Betancur of Manolo's Bakery is flying to Poland in May to help bakers feed and support Ukrainian refugees. Parker Foley, Tom Hanchett and I will donate all profits from our concert on Wednesday, April 27 at Blakeney Racquet Club to the relief effort.

Dj Red Hickey hosts a live radio show in Knoxville, Tennessee at “Visit Knoxville”. A limited number of tickets are available. The show will also live stream on WDVX’s Facebook page (and will be available for later viewing).

As part of the International “Make Music Day”, Parker Foley and I will be at the East/West light rail station (on the “Rail Trail”) from 4-6pm doing our thing (all acoustic).
